Born -- (D) to Gerhard (G.) Andreas (A.) Boekhoff and Adelheid Friederike Meyer. Died 1952-11-15, buried in South Dakota (USA). He lived in Pleasant Valley Township in Grundy County, IA in the late 1890's. He farmed in Wellsburg, IA, and after awhile moved to Hazel, SD. He farmed there until 1908 and then moved to North Meade, SD and homesteaded 160 acres. (This info provided by his grandson Richard.) In 1910 he was living in North Meade, South Dakota.
