Born 1825-03-11 (D). Peter's wife Marika died in Germany. After that, Peter and his son Casjen, age 17, and daughter Edtja (Ida), age 15, sailed for America in 1879. Peter died on the ship and was buried at sea. The two children continued their journey to America and settled in Ackley, Iowa.
